Alberto J. Arias
Alberto J. Arias is a renowned Chicago dancer and choreographer, formerly Principal Dancer with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Ballet Master for Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. A Ruth Page Award nominee and Chicago Dance Magazine’s 1992 Best Dancer, he has worked with top choreographers including Twyla Tharp and Lou Conte. In pageantry, Alberto has choreographed over 80 winning talents across major national systems, earning Miss Gay America’s Overall Talent title four years in a row.
Skyler Newcom
Skyler Newcom, a Lawrenceville, GA native, began training under Jeff Boss and Jamie Wardrop before earning a scholarship to the University of Arizona School of Dance, where he performed works by renowned choreographers including Nacho Duato and Jessica Lang. Since earning his B.F.A. in 2019, he has danced with Giordano Dance Chicago for seven years and worked as a Chicago-based freelancer. Now joining Chicago Repertory Ballet, Skyler strives to inspire audiences and explore real-world emotion through movement.
Ethan Kirschbaum
Ethan Kirschbaum graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors in dance from The Ailey School/Fordham University. He danced professional with Hubbard Street 2, Saarländisches Staatstheater, River North Dance Chicago, Lucky Plush Productions, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He was on faculty at Lou Conte Dance Studio since 2012 and was named the Mentor for its Scholarship program. He is certified by The Ailey School to teach all levels of Horton and is the Founder of the Chicago Movement Collective.
Pollux
Pollux (he/they) is a Chicago based freelance artist with a BFA in dance from Columbia College of Chicago. His concert dance experience with Hedwig Dances, Same Planet Performance Project, and Fred Darsow has taken his performance throughout the U.S. and overseas. Currently, Pollux can be found teaching modern dance at Dance Center Evanston, performing with AJA talents, and backup dancing/choreographing for drag queens. Jesse Hoisington
Jesse Hoisington began his training at a young age in Milford, Michigan. He was accepted into Interlochen Arts Academy and studied for two years before heading to Western Michigan University’s Department of Dance graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Since moving to Chicago, Jesse has had the privilege of performing with Cerqua Rivera Dance Theater, Hedwig Dances, South Chicago Dance Theater, and AJA Talent-where he currently serves as rehearsal manager.
